' Mr Hauksbee delivered a compleat List of the Members with their Arrears and State or condition as to Payments and Contribution Market against each Name in the Margin, according to an Order of last Council, which List being perused, was returned to him to Supply Some defects, and render more perfect against next Council.
Mr Hauksbee Reported that Mr Frewin and himself had endeavoured tho in Vain to deliver according to Order thier Message to Mr Nevil the publisher of the Daily Post at his Lodgings at Mr Nutts House in the Old Baily, To know by what Authority he has of late published in Several Papers Articles of News Reflecting on the Royal Society. And although they had been at his Lodgings five Several Times, he was not once to be met with at home, nor could they obtain any other Satisfaction than a base promise from one of the men that the Original Papers Should be produced if they could be found. Whereupon it was Ordered That Mr Frewin do endeavour once more to Deliver his message to the said Publisher, or at least if he will not be Spoke with to obtain from him by a Servant a direct and peremptory Answer whether he will declare or not the Name of the Author from whom he Received the Accounts of the proceedings of the Royal Society published in his daily posts of March the 6th and 20th, 1731.
Dr Mortimer Reported that upon Serch of the Council Books to find upon what Occation the Names of Dr Richard Robinson and Anthony Hammond Esq were left out of the Lists: He finds That at a Council held on October 22 1707 The Name of Dr Richard Robinson was ordered among others to be left out, without any reason Assigned. But as to Mr Hammond he cannot find any Entry in the Books concerning it.
Agreed That Dr Richard Robinson and Anthony Hammond Esq Shall have their Names Entred in the List on condition that they pay their Arrears to the Times and to give Bond for their Contribution for the Future as usual. '
