' Mrs Johnson desiring to be heard upon her Petition delivered at last Council, she was called in, and at length prevailed upon the Council to order her two Guineas : but with this Proviso, that she was not to expect any further charity from the Society. And at the same time an Order was made, that no Petition should hereafter be received from her on the same head.
Doctor Mortimer shewed several Draughts of Plants and Animals made by Mr Catesby, to be inserted with the copies of the Papers they related to in the Register Books : and said, that Mr Catesby was willing to make up all the deficiencies to complete the Register Books, accoding to the Specimens produced, and would likewise make such Draughts hereafter as shall from time to time be wanting, on condition his Bond might be given up. Which Proposal being put to the Ballot, was approved of, and thereupon an Order made. That Mr Catesby's Bond for Contribution be delivered to him. ' |
