' The Treasurer took out of the Iron Chest two South - Sea Bonds, in order to receive the Interest, that is No. 4031 and No. 5887, of one hundred Pounds each.
The following Bills being put to the Ballot and agreed to, were ordered to be paid :

It was moved that Captain Samuel Mead and Lewis Way Esq might have Liberty to take up their Bonds upon the payment of twenty Guinea's each : which was agreed to, and Mr Hauksbee had Orders accordingly.
Ordered that no Paper to be printed shall for the future be copied into the Duplicate Copy, that is to be reposited in the hands of the President.
Mr Jones said, that the Collection of Mr Colins's Papers relating to the Controversy about the Invention of Fluxions, which he had borrowed of the Society some time since, appeared upon examination to be incompleat, and desired the Loan of the rest, to digest them in order into one Volume, for the Better Use of the Society : whereupon another parcel being found int he Iron Chest, the same was put into his hands for that purpose.
The President informed the Council, that the College of Physicains are disposed to make over their Right and Property in the House bequathed to them by the Lady Sadler, to the Royal Society : and that they had accordingly sent a Message by Dr Mortimer in the following Words:
"Ordered, that the President of the Royal Society be acquained, that the College are of opinion to get rid of Lady Sadler's Donation; and that Dr Mortimer have a Copy of this Minute.

Which matter being taken into consideration, several parts of the Will relating to this Donation, and several parts of the Decree in Chancery upon the Establishment thereof, were read. And some Doubts arising concerning the Powers in the College for transferring their Right: it was at length resolved, that the Answer in return to the message from the College should be in the following words :
"The President having communicated to the Council the Message sent from the College of Physicians relating to Lady Sadler's Donation : the consideration thereof was referred to the President, Vice-Presidents, Treasurer and Secretaries of the Society or any of them, who are impowered to confer with any Committee apppointed by the College of Physicians, and to report their Proceedings to the Council.
