Report made on the Visitation of the Royal Observatory made on 13 July 1778 by the Visitors of the Royal Observatory. Includes list of Observors, surveyed the instruments and compared them with the Inventory of 1775 by the Astronomer Royal. Listed maintenance and upkeep of the instruments in the Transit Room, Quadrant Room, Great Room and New Room, and two bills presented for mecessary repairs which report and bills to be presented to Board of Ordnance with recommndation to pay.

Mr Stuart to make a plan for the Council and the Board of the Observatory to include all changes and additions, and the Board's Surveyor to be asked to attend to assess the estimates and plans and choose which to execute.
Earl of Clanruckard's bond to be removed from the strong box and the Solicitor to begin an action against him for his arrears to the Society and delivered to the Clerk.
