Treasurer authorised to purchase £280 consols for the Brady Library Fund. Resolution on the Rumford Fund rescinded and payments of varying amounts over £68 to Professors Hertz, Duner and Dewar approved. Instruments at the Falmouth Observatory insured for £300 at the expense of the Government Grant Fund. Proceeds of the Handley Fund expended on the Catalogue of Scientific Papers last year, approved. Dividends accruing to the Winteringham Fund to be paid to the Secretary of the Foundling Hospital. Bills for engraving, paper, books and other expenses. |
