ArrangementThe collection was arranged into two groups by Dee and Wormell in 1960; section A deals with material relating to the cloud chamber and section B covers Wilson's work on atmospheric electricity. Some records concerning the deposit of the material have been catalogued in section C. A selection of photographs, found with CW/B/11 in 1960, have been placed in section D.

Section E represents a later deposit of material, received in 2003.
