Citation | James Six Esqr of Canterbury, a Gentleman well known to the Royal Society, for the contrivance of a Thermometer, which shews the greatest degree of heat and cold in the absence of the observer, and for some communications on local heat, which have been published in the Philosophical Transactions, being desirous of becoming a member of the Society, we whose names are underwritten do from our personal knowledge recommend him as very deserving of that honour |
