Citation | Thomas Richard Fraser. The Author of many Memoirs containing important discoveries on the physiological action of drugs; amongst others of the following - 1. On the physiological action of Calabar Bean (Trans of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Vol XXIV) To this memoir the Barbier Prize of the French Academy of Sciences was awarded in 1868. 2. (In conjunction with Professor Crum Brown) On the connection between Chemical Constitution and Physiological Action (Transactions of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Vol XXV). To this paper the Royal Society of Edinburgh awarded the Macdougall Brisbane Prize for the triennial period 1866-1868. 3. An investigation into some previously undescribed tetanic symptoms produced by atropia in cold-blooded animals (Trans of the Roy Soc of Edinburgh Vol XXV part II 4. An experimental Research on the Antagonism between the actions of Physostigma and Atropia. (Transactions of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Vol XXVI). |
