Citation | Distinguished for his investigations on the peripheral sensory nervous mechanisms, and particularly for the correlation of the results of his anatomical, experimental and clinical observations, the one with the other, as well as with those of other workers (Journ Anat, 1918-1921; Lancet, 1915-1922; Brain, 1920); for his technical achievement in determining the exact distribution of arteries in the brain, and enunciating important morphological principles and clinical applications (Journ Anat, 1916 and 1917), and for far-reaching reforms in the methods of teaching anatomy, and especially for the integration of such teaching with physiology, radiology and medicine. |
