Title | Mason, Sir Basil John: certificate of election to the Royal Society |
Description | Citation typed |
Citation | Mason has developed a school of the physics of clouds which enjoys a world-wide reputation for originality. His investigations are distinguished by great experimental skill and uncommon insight in their interpretation. He has recently put forward evidence of a new, and probably the final, solution of the problem of the electrification of thunderclouds. A list of three books and over fifty scientific papers is attached. |
