Simon presented a paper at the second meeting ('The Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy') held on 29 June 1954, though only Simon's draft notes are included. However, typescript summaries of both meetings survive, as does a typescript of questions submitted to the panel of speakers at the third meeting (13 July 1954).
Also included are invitations to Simon to meetings of the Royal Institute of International Affairs, on 'The H-Bomb:Massive Retaliation of Graduated Deterrents" (9 November 1955) and "The Disarmament Problem" (30 May 1956), with attachesd guestlists. |
