I do not believe that v.Socher did not want to assist the war effort as he was judged very well by some reliable people. On the other hand I agree with you that his wishes only to get his release in connection with a job are rather strange.
May I inform you - in case you are interested or you know of any relatives in this country - that we found on the first list of survivors from Theresienstadt the name of Marie Rausch v. Traubenberg, born 1889. We have in our pssession all the lists of this concentration camp, published so far and if you want us to look up names we are of course gladly prepared to do so. ' |
