TitleLetter from Howard Walter Florey to E C Dodds
Date23 November 1959
DescriptionComments on minutes of Fleming Fund meeting - when circular on Canada arrived, remarked to Secretary that they might as well not have had meeting - does not want to be accused of "having upset the boat" by resigning - he and Goodhart have all along taken exception to much that has gone on - comments on this and on involvement of advertising people with Fleming Appeal - adopts passive role - Dodds is in strong position as he was called in late and cannot be said to have an axe to grind - does not think E B Chain will do himself any good by taking too active a part in the matter.
