DescriptionThanks Dale for letter and for curarine - comments on report at the Mayo Clinic finding that experimental shock can be put off for 10 and a half hours by giving animals barbiturate - feels the nervous system is in some way involved at least in the early stages of severe shock - Denny Brown is getting interesting results in cats by blows on the head and claims to be able to differentiate between concussion and shock produced by this means.
