| Description | Included are letters to series of patients treated with penicillin and series of controls treated with sulphathiazole, sulphamexathine and sulphamezathine and sulphapyridine, asking them to complete questionnaires with cards summarising cases (penicillin and controls) giving name, age, organism, duration of illness, size of effusion, time until drainage and time until healed and rough note on patients. There were 48 patients in total. |
