Description | Autograph letter signed by sender. Was very pleased to see his handwriting again and also to hear that he likes his new abode. William Whewell is coming on Saturday and Richard Jones will propose John Frederick William Herschel's scheme to him. There are many nightingales at Haileybury. Has a new garden with 250 different rose trees. Will try and bring Mrs. Jones down to see him. |
