Citation | Denny-Brown, Derek Ernest (London). Neurologist. He has made a number of important investigations on the physiology of the nervous system, particularly in its relation to skeletal muscle. More recently he has studied by means of physiological analysis various problems presented by clinical neurology, more particularly the activities of the bladder and rectum in man and their disturbance by lesions of the spinal cord and peripheral nerves. His investigations on the nature of complex epileptic attacks have provided important information on the functional disturbances associated with convulsions. List of papers attached. |
