| Citation | Bazett, Henry Cuthbert (Philadelphia, USA) Profesor of Physiology. Professor Bazett has worked on body temperature control and the circulatory adjustments concerned in it. Interested in physiological integration he has specialised in the correlation of observations by different methods. Using fine thermo-couples and the thin tissue of the preface he confirmed the identification of Krause and Ruffine end - organs as thermal receptors stimulated probably by an arterio-venous spatial gradient. Climatic changes in blood-volume , discovered by Barcroft, have been related to vasometer adjustments.
