With readings of the barometer and attached thermometer, and dry and wet bulb thermometer over the same period. There are general remarks on the state of the weather, and a column for electrometer readings [which has been left blank].

Headed 'Abstract of Term-day Observations'. With an extended memorandum [p.4] from John Caldecott, 31 May 1841, to the Royal Society, commencing: 'The instruments only reached the observatory in the middle of last month; they have been rather hastily brought into use...'.
