| Description | Daily observations of magnetic and meteorological instruments at approximately two hourly intervals. Made at St Martin's Cove on Hermite Island [Chile], 'near Cape Horn', and at Port Louis, Berkeley Sound, East Falkland Island. These tables record readings of: declination, horizontal, and vertical force magnetometers, with associated thermometers; and barometer height with temperature of mercury, and wet and dry thermometer. With general weather observations, mainly wind strength and irection and cloud cover, with minimum and maximum temperatures. |
