Description | Tables of magnetic declination and magnetic intensity, twelve observations per hour for each, made during twenty-four hour periods at the Brera Observatory in Milan on 22-23 March 1843 [pp.1-2]; and 19-20 April 1843 [pp.3-4].
Both sets of observations were enclosed in the form of a letter communicated to the Royal Society by Francesco Carlini and endorsed as received on 4 May 1843, by Samuel Hunter Christie. Numbered 383 and 384. With lists of observers and participants, both signed by Robert Stambucchi and dated 27 March 1843 and 22 April 1843.
