Description | Daily observations at hourly intervals at Singapore. Readings of the declination magnetometer, bifilar magnetometer and its attached thermometer, vertical force magnetometer and its attached thermometer; with a vertical force magnetometer (uncorrected) 'In shed near Observatory' with its attached thermometer; an uncorrected barometer and its attached thermometer, corrected barometer, dry and wet thermometers, dry and wet thermometers in the shade, standard thermometer, and exposed thermometer. With elasticity of vapour at the temperature of the hygrometer, elasticity of vapour at the temperature of dew point [four observations per day], minimum temperature, solar and terrestrial radiation, and Moon's age, with two hourly observations of solar radiation and hourly observations of the actimometer. There are also term day observations, commencing at 10.00p.m. on 19 October and concluding at 9.00p.m. on 20 October [Gottingen mean time], with readings of the magnetometers, barometer, wet and dry thermometers, wet and dry thermometers in shade, with wind direction and pressure, rainfall, and cloud cover [Singapore mean time is added].
