Description | Daily observations at hourly intervals at Singapore. Readings of the declination magnetometer, duplicate declination magnetometer ['in shed'], bifilar magnetometer uncorrected with its attached thermometer, vertical force magnetometer and its attached thermometer; uncorrected barometer and its attached thermometer, corrected barometer, dry and wet thermometers, dry and wet thermometers in the shade, and exposed thermometer. With elasticity of vapour at the temperature of the hygrometer, elasticity of vapour at the temperature of dew point [four observations per day], minimum temperature, solar and terrestrial radiation, with hourly observations of solar radiation and hourly observations of the actimometer. There are also term day observations, commencing at 10.00p.m. on 21 December and concluding at 9.00p.m. on 22 December [Gottingen mean time], with readings of the magnetometers, barometer, wet and dry thermometers, dry and wet thermometers in shade, direction and force of wind, rainfall and cloud cover with general remarks.
