DescriptionGeneral descriptions of the state of the weather, made at two-hourly intervals. Columns for date, time and weather. From June, an additional column for 'Clear Sky' is added. Fron July, the observations become hourly.

Headed [p.1]: 'Observatory at Singapore. Daily observations of the Weather made during the month of...[month inserted]. Sheets are signed by C.M. Elliot at the end of each month, and each end of month gathering is usually inscribed 'Abstract of the Weather', with the date. There are some variations in the size of paper, notably in October 1843, as a more tabular form is briefly adopted.
