DescriptionMonthly tables of magnetic dip on selected days, made using a variety of instruments, including [Humphrey] Lloyd's dipping needles. Commencing [p.1] with a memorandum by C.M. Elliot, apparently repurposed as a heading sheet for these observations. Sheets for some months are not present.

Individual pages are usually signed by C.M. Elliot. Most individual sheets have tables on the recto pages, the verso pages inscribed with variations on 'Abstract of Dip for..' [month inserted]
