DescriptionAnnual monthly mean results of meteorological observations made at Karachi, Pakistan [then India]. This 1858 table has columns for corrected barometer, mean temperatures of air and evaporation at 9.30am and 3.30pm; the same for dew point computed by Glaisher's tables, Apjohn tables, and observed by Daniell's hygrometer and Regnault's hygrometer; means for elasticity and humidity of vapour, with weights; wind pressure and cloud cover; maximum temperature in the Sun and mimimum on grass; temperature of air, temperature of evaporation, maximum pressure of wind, and rainfall.

The table is credited: 'Deduced at the Meteorological observatory Bombay [Mumbai] by Govind Ramchundra and Hurry Chintamun'. and signed by E.F.T. Fergusson, Superintendent of the Government Observatory. Typed paper labes verso [p.2]: 'Kurrachee. Annual and monthly averages. 1858'.
