DescriptionGraphical representations of meteorological observations made at Colaba Observatory. Two diagrams per sheet. The upper diagram is headed: 'Barometer, and Wind and Rain Diagram from the 9.30a.m. observations'. The lower is headed: 'Thermometer and Hygrometer Diagram'. Direction of wind is represented from January 1854.

Each sheet is headed 'Meteorological Observatory at Bombay'. The printed sheet is engraved lower left and right: 'H. James Captn. R.E. delt. J.W. Lowry sc.'. The author of the sheets is not noted, but these are based upon the observations made by Govind Ramchundra and possibly others. Each sheet is inscribed verso: 'Meteorological Curves for... [month and year] Government Observatory Bombay.
