The second table contains hourly observations commencing at 12.46pm on 20 March and concluding at 12.25pm on 21 March. Columns for date and time, three barometers used on shore (designated M.102, M.101 and Cary's), with two barometers on board ship (designated M.18 and No.62), with temperature, wind force and direction, and remarks. The third table is headed 'Results of Observations', and provides summary information in columns for mean time, maximum, minimum and mean barometer results, and mean temperatures from shore and aboard ship.
