Title | Letter from William Crookes, 7 Kensington Park Gardens, London, to [Robert William Frederick] Harrison |
Creator | Crookes; William (1832-1919); British chemist |
Date | 9 March 1904 |
Description | 'My dear Mr Harrison, I see no objection to altering the date of the Soiree from May 18th to May 11 if you think the other members of the Committee should be asked pray do so, but after all we only report to the Council of the [Royal Society] and theyhave the decision to make. In any case there is no need to call the Committee together. Wednesday the 16th will not suit me for an Exhibits Committee, but the following Monday will do very well. Please therefore call one fort that day, at 3. I will look into the matter of the Count Vay de Vaya. I have had a letter from the Duke of Northumberland on the same subject. Believe me, very truly yours, William Crookes'. |
