| Title | Letter from [John] Stanley Gardiner, The Royal Society, Burlington House, London, W, to The Assistant Secretary, Royal Society |
| Creator | Gardiner; John Stanley (1872 - 1946) |
| Date | 30 October 1912 |
| Description | Suggests that Mr [Wilfred Eade] Agar's paper should be referred to Professor [Reginald Crundall] Punnett and [Arthur] Dendy. States that if there is a difference, the paper should be referred to Professor [William] Bateson. Notes Miss Robertson's paper. Proposes that as soon as they have the reports on the papers in, a meeting of the Zoology Committe should be called as they must have a meeting about one already in hand. States that they are publishing a great many papers in Zoology and their lack of suitable referees is distressing. Dissatisfied with the standard not being as high as he expects it should be. |
