DescriptionRequests references to the paper of Professor [Harold Baily] Dixon in which he has a plate showing the photograph of a cyanogen explosion in a closed tube taken on a moving plate, stating he could not find it in the Philosophical Transactions. References he Dixon's Bakerian Lecture of 1893 but it is a good deal more recent than that. Additionally requests advice as to what the best Index to consult for papers is, particularly English papers sine 1883.
