DescriptionEncloses papers which the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds are circulating among members of Parliament and others [enclosure not present]. Requests that a letter be written to the Prime Minister, on behalf of the Royal Society, stating that is is with great satisfaction that Society hears that facilities will be given for discussion in Parliament of legislation to prohibit the importation of the feathers and plumage of wild birds for millinery purposes. Emphasises the importance of the matter and wishes to take advantage of the Government's present attitude.
