TitleLetter from Arthur Schuster, The Royal Society, Burlington House, London, W, to [illegible recipient]
CreatorSchuster; Sir; Arthur (1851-1934); British physicist
Date11 October 1916
DescriptionInforms he will show a letter to the President and that in his opinion the objects of the Board are sufficiently defined in its constitution and it is presumed that the Societies which joined are sarisfied in its raison d'etre. States that there are other bodies at work on similar objects and that it is not possible to give any detailed exposition of its range of activity, and that there is plenty of work for all & the only effective plan is to keep in touch with other ogranisations so as to avoid overlapping. Provides examples to illustrate his point.
