Title | Letter from [Andrew] Gray, University of Glasgow, to Mr [Robert] Harrison, [Royal Society] |
Creator | Gray; Andrew (1847 - 1925) |
Date | 16 February 1916 |
Description | In reference to a letter from the Royal Society about his people who have RS War Service Badges, stating he wrote to say that he has in part received the enclosed instructions, with marked paragraphs which have an exemption [enclosure not present]. States that it is quite clear that if the Badges are held on March 1 exemption is autmoatic and that no individual application is necessary. Has asked the Ministry of Munitions of the prospect of work beyond optical testing but has received no reply. Expresses his anxiety to keep the men who did that work and enquires what he is to do in these cases. |
