States that Dr Jackson informed him that it had been delivered by the postman with a statement that he had presented it at the rooms of the Royal Society but that it had been refused. Rather than returning it to the post office, he asked Jackson to tell the postman that its acceptance at the Royal Society rooms should be insisted upon. |
