TitleLetter from [Frederick Frost] Blackman, Botany School, Cambridge, to [Francis Alexander] Towle
CreatorBlackman; Frederick Frost (1866-1947)
Date2 December 1921
DescriptionBlackman returns Dr W L Ball's certifiate with abbreviated text, and is 'gratified' to learn a grant of £50 was made from the Tevelyan Fund, and suggests the grant stands in the name of Mr Smith, as he should not have applied to the Royal Society after getting a grant from the Darwin Fund. Blackman needs to get the appratus therefore it would be convenient if the cheque to Mr A J Smith, could be sent to him.
