TitleLetter from Marjory Ludlow Hewitt, 48 Woodstock Road, Oxford, to 'Dear Sir' [Robert Harrison?]
Date4 January 1916
DescriptionMrs. Sollas left papers relating Mrs Hewitt's brother's will [Henry Moseley] in her desk and left instructions to send them to her correspondent when required. She did not send or look at them, and therefore when the solicitors asked, she did not know that the original of the will was there, referring the solicitors to her brother's bank. The will was eventually found. Her mother, Mrs. Sollas, had made a list of the securities and assets and this will be with the other papers. Mrs. Sollas is in France, with the French Red Cross, and she expected her correspondent to prove the will and make necessary arrangements without troubling her. She expects that everything will be found to be in order when she sends the papers.
