Title | Letter from GC Foster to Lord Rayleigh |
Date | 12 April 1892 |
Description | Commenting on a paper by Dr Hermann Sprengel ('The explosion of wet guncotton through cumulative detonation'), in which Sprengel claims to be the originator of the process of cumulative detonation.
Whilst Foster thinks Sprengel's paper is not suitable for publication by the Royal Society, he does suggest the Society should publish a correction to a paper from 1874 by Sir Frederick Abel which Sprengel takes issue with. |
