| Provenance | Exact provenance unknown. In 1904 Dr. William Napier Shaw displayed an 'atmospheric barograph' at a Royal Society Soiree [PC/3/3/6]. Later correspondence from 1910-11 documents Shaw and the then Secretary of the Royal Society discussing the barograph's deposit at the Royal Society NLB/43/424]. It is possible that this is the same barograph. |
