Description | Monthly report of the superintendents of exploration. March 6th began the commencement of a new series of excavations through the northern entrance to the cavern - the black band was found under the stalagmite floor. Finds include the largest potsherd uncovered so far, and 'a portion of a lower human jaw, containing three molars'. . The most important find is a bone barbed harpoon and an outline tracing in included. |
