Description | Monthly report of the superintendents of exploration. The south-west gallery excavation is ongoing - numerous rocks of limstone and 'extremely thick' stalagmitic floor..Teeth and remains of horse, bear, fox, rhinoceros, and hyena have been found alongside smaller mammals. They found the upper jaw of a bear, containing two canines and molars, in the stalagmitic floor. Some bones have been split lengthways and others have teeth marks. |
