Commencing: 'I, John Mills, do grant and agree...'. Signed by John Mills. Sealed and delivered in the presence of John Owens and John Robertson, with an embossed seal for two shillings and sixpence. Inscribed: 'Memdm. This Bond should have been executed on the 24th of April 1766, when I was admitted a Fellow of the Royal Society; but, by the carelessness of the then Librarian, Mr Da Costa, was neglected so to be.'. |
