The volume also includes some loose inserts in the form of correspondence, notably a letter from Alicia Boole dated 16 Oct 1889 requesting the loan of some of her father, George Boole's, manuscripts as specified in an enclosed list. This letter can be found at the back of the volume. Other correspondence is interleaved and concerns the return of library books.
