DescriptionIn response to Stewart's application for £100 to investigate 'the cause of the heating of a rotating disc', the Government Grant Committee have decided to give him £50. They have also provided him with suggestions to consider when furthering his investigation. Stokes suggests that if these do not give him sufficient answers then to apply to the Committee again in future.
