Description | Regarding the matter of the provision of a 'convenient intercommunication between the apartments of the two Societies [Royal Society and the Chemical Society], different from that which was claimed objectionable by the Council of the R S [Royal Society]'. Sharpey notes that in the view of the President and Council, if the Chemical Society are able to propose an arrangement that does not alter the existing plans of the architects, then this will be considered by the President and Officers.
