TitleLetter from Arthur Vassall to William B Hardy
Date16 December 1917
DescriptionHas not investigated uses of chestnut shells - -can only think of linoleum or floor covering. Will try to make the chestnut meeting. Notes that the trouble with chestnut collecting lies in lack of communication between the stationmaster with transport instructions and those holding the chestnuts -- that there are 'quite a lot still wasting in heaps about the country.' Suggests that chestnut or acorn flour be used in production of primary batteries.
