Description | He has shown Mr [William] Shackleton's letter to Sir Michel Foster. They think it should be sent to Sir Clements Markham to consider what action should be taken. In view of its contents, it is important that Captain Scott leaves all original documents with Longhurst as they may be of importance in legal proceedings, especially any letters from Shackleton written after the refusal to recommend his appointment. |
