Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie to Captain [Robert Falcon] Scott |
Creator | Geikie; Sir; Archibald (1835-1924) |
Recipient | Scott; Robert Falcon (1868-1912); Royal Navy officer; Antarctic explorer |
Date | 3 March 1910 |
Description | Geikie reminds Scott that about a year ago he said he had further objections about Dr [William Napier] Shaw's remarks in the Meteorological Volume of the work of the Antarctic Expedition. The Royal Society Council cannot consider the matter further without the entire case. Geikie understands Scott is busy planning his new expedition, but would like to resolve this matter before he leaves for the Antarctic again. Reminds Scott that any necessary corrections will be published in the preface of the second volume. |
