| Title | Letter from James Thomson, 22 Wentworth Place, Newcastle on Tyne, to [Joseph] Larmor |
| Creator | Thomson; James (b.1858); British engineer |
| Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
| Date | 11 November 1910 |
| Description | He thanks Larmor for two kind letters and corrections. His sister is better and anxious to continue writing the biographical sketch herself. If she can complete it, it will be more professional and less intimate than what his wife is writing. He would like to discuss some of these points in person and he asks if Larmor intends to go to Belfast for the centenary of the Academical Institution. Thomson's answer to the invitation will depend upon Larmor's response. |
