| Title | Letter from R T [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook, the National Physical Laboratory, Bushy House, Teddington, Middlesex, to [Joseph] Larmor |
| Creator | Glazebrook; Sir Richard Tetley (1854-1935); British physicist |
| Recipient | Larmor; Sir Joseph (1857-1942); Irish theoretical physicist |
| Date | 27 July 1909 |
| Description | He encloses a first proof [not present] of a report on the Kew M.O. [Meteorological Observatory] business. It needs modification, particularly in the conclusion. [William Napier] Shaw has pointed out that the M.O and Executive Committee ought to be consulted before going to the Treasury. He asks Larmor to look at the proof to make suggestions. He thinks the matter should be settled by a meeting, since Shaw is going to Canada, and there are various committees to involve. The Treasury should have the document in early December and he gives a schedule of meetings with Shaw, [Charles] Chree, and [Arthur] Schuster. |
